The only reason I gave two stars is because my experience and challenges at this school helped me grow as a person. I was a teacher at this school for two years teaching English as a second language. The school does not have enough resources and does not provide enough support for their students especially ESL students. Ive witnessed staff members and teachers allow and participate in racist/homophonic slurs. I felt secluded isolated and not respected as a teacher at this school. It made sense because I was from a different part of the world but I only experienced true kindness and respect from a few people here. Staff members are not very friendly or welcoming to the social emotional growth and development of their students. The kids are disrespectful and so teachers usually respond with the same disrespect to keep the kids in check.
As a staff member, I was never recognized for anything that I did and was not really offered guidance and support. I do not recommend this school as a teacher or for your kids.
