Children and friends of our children doing well in local colleges/universities and colleges across the nation. Administration and teachers were caring and kept us informed of our children's progress. A traditional normal high school experience, with good academic rigor and life-long friendships. Lot's of sports and clubs to participate, at all levels... essential for a good HS experience.

Our oldest has mild autism and ADHD. The IEP team and teacher/mentor as well as athletics coaches have been above and beyond supportive. He is very excited about learning in his classes and has a great relationship with school faculty.

Best part of this school is its down to Earth, hard working, no-nonsense culture. Way, way better environment than is the ridiculous Washington and to so extent Hawaiian schools our kids went to at prior duty stations.

Responsive, professional and warm, the leaders are also ready to collaborate with parents to improve their program.

Couldnt ask for a better High School. Facility is new, huge, and amazing. Sports facilities are phenomenal for a high school, seriously, they look like they should be on a major University, and the bussing and meal program is the best Ive ever seen. Our kids live like Hobbits. Wake up, eat 1st breakfast at home, bussed to school, 2nd breakfast (all students get this for free), lunch (free again), play sports, 1st dinner (free), and sports bus home. Amazing for a large and active family!

At least people are friendly, cause they do not work how they should.

They never give homework whatsoever, horrible management from teachers.
Posted: April 16, 2018
Most teachers are there just for the paycheck. So sad.

Horrible, the teachers seem to focus more on the students who do not try at all, and leave the ones who actually want to be there. Teachers do not give out homework or regular work in class, most days students do nothing but stay on the phone. But, whenever there is a special guest, everything changes.

People don't give this school enough credit, for I believe it's one of the most beautiful and friendly schools in the city of El Paso. The students there are pretty down to earth and most of them are high character guys.I've heard nothing but nice things from the transfer students, so any parents thinking of giving Canutillo a chance, their son or daughter would be in good hands.

Honestly, I know this school sometimes has poor reviews but it is a great school. The campus is beautiful, most teachers are great and supportive, and the students are friendly. I moved to Texas and was nervous about going to a new school but this school made it very easy for me to make the transformation. It's a great school. Sports and education is very good.
