My children got bullied by her classmates and her gym coach . She got falsely accused of smoking in the bathroom and embarrassed her infront of the whole school she almost got jumped twice becouse of it and the school did nothing becouse of her getting falsely accused she was targeted for the rest of the school year by her teachers and teachers she had never seem before they even had a group chat where thay would talk about her and other students. On the last day of school she got to school late and when she got a pass to class she went on her way to class then stopped to use the bathroom she had just walked in when a teacher walked in and yelled at her ware was she soposed to me my daughter replied and said she just had to use the restroom she will leave and go to class and that she was sorry for the inconvenience then the teacher put her hands on my daughters shoulders and said she needed to go to the office and walked her down she said yes mam then the office suspended her on the last day of school

I used to go here; I'm in 12th grade now. From my experience (2020-2022), this school was just mediocre everywhere. The building was badly maintained (frequent bugs and other pests), teachers weren't very engaging, students often misbehaved and the teachers didn't seem to know how to deal with it, leading to frequent fights. The school lunches were barely edible besides the snacks, lots of equipment were old and/or damaged (art supplies, gym equipment, etc.), the schedule changed every year, and from my personal experience counselors might as well not have even been there, that's how little they did to support struggling students.
I'm sure this school has a different principal by now, I just wonder if anything's changed. The overall unpleasantness of this school that I had to deal with was clearly the result of bad funding, bad staff communication, and bad management. Not a good place to send your kids.

This school is not the greatest. The principal cares way too much about attendance than the safety and education quality of students. There are many misbehaving students as well. The monthly fire drills are scheduled horribly. They always end up on days where I’m doing a test. They also completely banned phones.

Fantastic school. Our kids were in another school last year and having problems in most classes. Since moving into this school district they have just taken off. Their grades have gone through the roof and we credit that to the teachers. They actually seem interested in our children learning. The boys love and respect them and that makes all the difference. I HIGHLY recommend this school.

My son is in his third year (8th) and this is the best school ever. He has made so many good kids (sound morals) he has been able to go back each year and help the teachers from the past years because they have a good repare with the students. He gets up and us excited to go to school and try's to find ways to help out after school because He has made such a solid foundation with the staff. The band directors are THE BOMB! They have excited him into playing his instrument and are very organized, compassionate, loving, caring, I could go on and on. If a child can't afford an after school lock in or trip they will find a way to pay for it even if it's from their pockets. If the school sees a child won't have a good Christmas they will come together to get presents for the entire family. I can't say enough nice things about this school. We will be sad to leave after his 8th grade year.

Ward Elementary School A great school cannot exist without great groups of children, and the diversity of those children. Ward has a diverse population of children. Along with diversity, Ward's school offers a positive and nurturing climate for children. Ward has a great staff. The commitment and care is reflected in the schools status ratings, which signifies high academic achievement. Classmates have a variety of opportunities to celebrate school and friends in after school and in school programs. Parents are encouraged to participate their children's livelihood. A fun family night outing.

I think this is the best school ever! Most of the teachers and staff are nice and the students, too. The students can learn alot here. There is barely any problems such as fighting or bullying and if there is then a teacher would be there in seconds.

I am a student here at clis, and i love this school. when i go to school everyday i feel so safe because the staff is there when ever and wherever. i have been there since 6th grade and im in 8th right now and i couldnt have asked for a better school! some teachers teach differntly (which sometimes is hard), but it also helps me in a way. i suggest taking all preap classes because it pushes you and it also helps me. i will be very sad to leave the school. i recommend the staff but of course some teachers are just rude but most of them are amazing! there is no bullying, and if there is, it will be handled immediatly. the sports are a good thing to do too because that also pushes you. and again this school is excellent and you will also feel comfotable to talk to the teachers and there is no bullying ALLOWED!!!:)
