SCHOOL IS HORRIBLE: If you want your child to be ahead in college, just submit them as a dual credit student instead of putting them through this laughable program. The principal does have favorites, and if you don't conform to a leftist agenda- it won't be you. Kids are downright cruel, you have to keep your head down and mouth shut if you want any hope of being left alone. They only teach you the answers to the tests, not the actual material. My previous teacher told me I didn't have to understand any math problems- just to put it in the calculator. You cannot pass the TSI with a calculator. This fails you in college- and they encourage behavior that is despicable. This school is a joke with no structure, nor empathy. You can't stand up for yourself here, and you can't speak out. They ignore you and if anyone makes up anything about your character, even if it's untrue, you're through. IF YOU WANT AN ACTUAL EDUCATION, DO NOT GO HERE!

Do not go here!!! The kids here are incredibly cruel and make up accusations. Anyone can say anything about anyone- the principal does not investigate, she just fires or expels whoever. Unprofessional front desk, incredibly messy, school lacking in structure. I had the worst experience of my life here, there was inappropriate content everywhere, and kids receive special treatment based on political beliefs. This school does not value parent opinion, and if you are not a person of color, they will have prejudice towards you. No professionalism whatsoever. As a student I experienced severe mental distress, and again, principal does not care. Pornography went unchecked. They only teach you to pass the test, you don't retain any information after. I repeat, DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR EDUCATION.

Absolutely terrible experience over the past four years. I dreaded going here every single day—it genuinely impacted my mental health in the worst ways. The teachers are incredibly rude, blatantly show favoritism, and allow racism to go unchecked. It's beyond toxic. If you’re not a part of their inner circle of 'favorites,' good luck. This place felt more like a punishment than an education. I wouldn’t wish this school on anyone. If you’re thinking about sending your kids here, I wouldn't.

Be careful of this school. Even though you aren't getting dual credit you might not get 'credit' by the state of Texas if you decide the Virtual Model isn't for you and transfer out. Time wasted and now my student has to MAKEUP the time even though finished with A's and B's.

Virtual environment with a teacher who just answers questions - no teaching involved only answers questions.

ISchoolHigh at University Park has been a great experience for both my children. It has allowed them to progress at their own pace and get personalized help when needed. They have also benefited from the opportunity to take college classes. In fact, my oldest will be graduating from high school with his associates degree.

My son graduated from Ischool High - University Park last May. This letter has been a long time in the making because of my desire to adequately put into words how wonderful the staff was and how well the curriculum design allowed my son to excel. He graduated valedictorian within three years; graduating with 30+ college credits through the classes he was able to attend at the LoneStar college on campus. I do not say this to brag; I feel extremely blessed that he was allowed such an amazing opportunity, and I am compelled to share this gift with others.
Each day started at the front desk with April's sweet smiling face and various staff members welcoming the students. Throughout his high school career, my son had amazing teachers that would motivate him and allowed him to proceed at his own pace that enabled him to flourish academically. He was groomed for leadership and group participation with various extracurricular activities such as National Honor Society, chess club, and the school newspaper.
There are so many staff members and positive stories that come to mind. Mr. Bass played a pivotal role on the journey with benevolent counsel. He guided him through the college selection process, and gave him the confidence to reach for the stars.

I hope that parents and students searching for more opportunities will discover Ischool High and accept the challenges and benefits of such an amazing program.

The curriculum is based on workbooks instead of semesters. We moved out of the area and had to transfer our daughter back to a regular high school. She was an all A student! The faculty refused to giver her any credits for the time period attended and course work completed. This has completely crippled her GPA and high school credits. I'm not sure how they get away with not giving credits to students that have to transfer or move out of state. I should have argued this and fought harder to get my daughter at least a portion of the credits. Katy ISD said they would have fought against this poor and unethical decision made by ischool as well. Maybe I still should since my daughter is now having to graduate through a minimum graduate program. This is the one HUGE reason i would not recommend this school.

First of all, bullying is very RARE at our school. And if anything comes up the staff and teachers get involved to resolve the issue quickly. At iSchool, we are a family, therefore it is unlikely to see harsh attitudes toward each other.

I can still remember not liking the idea of this school as an 8th grader, but my mom said, "Just give it a chance." The main reason I did not want to go here was because I wanted to play basketball. Let me tell you, within a week of attending this school not only did I fall in love with iSchool High but I met some of my best friends. At iSchool, we are a family. It is hard to explain the environment of iSchool High unless you attend! It's so different then what you might expect. We take college classes for free. One of my friends is even graduating with her associate's degree! At iSchool, our education is put first in everything we do, but we do have lots of fun while furthering our education. Student lead all the clubs and events, which makes it so much fun. I could probably go on for days, but I'll end with this. I am now a Senior at iSchool High. I have had the absolute best high school experience ever. I look back on the three years I've spent here, and can honestly say iSchool High not only prepared me for college, but for every aspect of my life. Thanks mom for making me "give it a chance."

My daughter started here this school year, and she hasn't regretted it. She is so excited to go to school now because the experience is amazing! She gets to attend high school and college at the same time. She now has the chance of getting her associates degree for free. I would refer absolutely refer anyone to this school. This is an amazing opportunity for anyone. You need to apply your child today!

The school has offered my child amazing opportunities! My daughter, Alexis, is excelling in this program. The school offers amazing college classes, and teaches her how to be responsible in the real world. The teachers are phenomenal. Because of how small the classes are, the teaches have a personal relationship with each of the students. They seek to help the students succeed in every way possible. This environment has helped my daughter grow into a mature, young woman. Apply today! You won't regret it!

This school has had my son grow in more ways than just his education. He has matured now more than ever with his responsibilities. With him in control of his education, he has almost completed his sophomore year in just one semester. He has wonderful relationships with each of his teachers, and most importantly he feels safe. This school has been an amazing environment and a great opportunity for my child. He is in 11th grade now- a second year student with this school. While the academics are very challenging, I believe they are preparing my student for the real world and college. The small, warm environment has really helped my child develop socially and academically. I would definitely recommend the school- especially of your child is a motivated individual.

This school looks like it is beneficial to our children and is an amazing school to go to but in reality, this is the worst school my child has ever been in. The former counselor is now the principal and she is not legally allowed to be one. She makes up her own ridiculous rules for the students to follow and we as parents are just suppose to allow it. Not only is the school understaffed to where the students do not get enough time with their teacher, but the school also picks favorites. Someone can get away with wearing inappropriate clothing while another student will wear something more appropriate than the other person but get in trouble for it instead. This school is a hostile environment that makes the students soo upset and uncomfortable that many of them contemplate leaving, but decide to put their education above everything else and stay and are absolutely miserable. This is definitely not anywhere close to a school you should even consider bringing your child to, unless you are looking for a very strict, boot camp like feel type of school. I am very disappointed in how this school turned out and feel bad that students have to sit there and suffer through all this nonsense

This school has been an amazing opportunity for my child. The staff members are great, they are always there when my child or I have a question regarding anything. The new director we have is amazing, and does anything and everything she can do to help our children succeed. The numerous opportunities this school provides (early graduation, early college high school, possible graduating with an entire associates degree before you finish high school) make this one of the best schools I've seen in the houston area. I strongly recommend this school to anyone who is looking for the best school one can provide.

This school has one of the worst teachers here on Lone Star College. One of the teachers have completely wasted a student's time by giving them worksheets and expecting them to complete it before working on their core subjects. Another teacher gave a verbal test on one of the student's social studies book that lasted over 30 minutes long while other teachers did the verbal test in under 5 minutes.

School staff is completely unprofessional. They just had the director "step down" and they replaced him with the counselor and I don't know where she got her credentials but I am not impressed. Many of the kids do not graduate from high school much less an associates degree. It is a great concept school but they can't make it work.

The school is one of the greatest you can find in all of Texas. The teachers are the principal are the nicest you I'll ever find and it does not hurt that you could graduate with an associates degree. There is one big problem though, the counselor is nuttier than a pecan log with a side of pistachios. One day should could see someone not doing their work and joke around with them, the next day, she will threaten to write them up or remove them from college classes. She also calls my child's class a joke on a daily basis. She will also walk around the halls all day trying to find something to complain about instead of doing her work. One girl has been waiting weeks to receive her transcripts, but lets look for something to complain about instead of doing her job. Wouldn't recommend joining school until they do something aboutthe counselor.
