Nova Academy has definitely had its challenges but its a growing school in the right direction. They have some absolutely great teachers especially in 5th grade ELAR and Math, those teachers are exceptional upstairs and really take the time to work with there students to ensure success.

How about this: This is by far the worst school I have ever had to deal with for my nieces and nephews education. Student makes threats about killing students and when its reported to the admin they pretend they didnt hear when the student was standing right by them when he said it. They treat the students very differently especially when it comes to discipline. The SPED requires were not met. Now that they are at a different school they are struggling. This school has been going down every year for the last past 3-4 years. The score of 1 is only because it wouldnt let me leave it as 0 rating

They have anti-bullying week to teach and strengthen the children on being able to recognize bullies and bullying method and how to report or handle the situations.

Not sure but I have not ever heard a complaint in that area nor have I witnessed it. I attended every field trip my son's first year and never witnessed differences being made.

Leadership truly show in my son. I can see that it is being taught at school in addition to what he has learned at home and church.

The teacher keep me informed. We work as a team to keep my son on task. We are both aware of his potential and are determined to make sure he stays on task and strive to do his very best. He is a straight A student.

They send out a homework packet every week and have parents sign off on it daily. It allows me to see what my son is learning and double check his work. The homework focuses on a different subject each of the 5 days. Monday spelling, language art, reading/ reading comprehension and math etc. I know to expect it each week. It's never too much in one day but just enough to practice the concept of the subject for that day.

My son has had to wonderful teachers. Ms. Bremer and Ms. Mitchell. My son loves his school.

Horrible staff my son had several teachers who did not know what they were doing he is in the 3rd grade with 7 different teachers for each subject and was overwhelmed and ssid all he would do is just Jott notes down in every class
