Do not send your child to this school it is full of roaches and bugs bathrooom stalls do not close there is mold in the vents they tend to lie about everything including the staff they leave the outside trailer doors open and only a fence keeping people out all doors should be locked including the outside ones to the trailer that the students are in but someone can jump over the fence and harm the students since the doors and not locked the school fails all safety precautions and the air conditioning does not work sometimes in my case the school needs to be closed quickly its too old to run anymore longer.

My child is entering the third year this year at North Oaks. We did not have high expectations as "Great Schools" had it ranked pretty low. Regarding the teachers, many of them have done a good job, but a couple have seem to brought their politics in the door and even champion their sexuality. It's none of my child's business which team their teachers bat for. Last year, there was a very short event with bullying. Their had it on tape and the perpetrator was dealt with. My child gets along with almost everyone, but there seems to be a common thread that minorities can't be racist. The irony is, that at this school, my child is a minority. It hasn't caused any direct issues though. My child has struggled with asking for help from teachers which has made progress slower than we would like, but has excelled in other areas. Overall I would recommend this school, because I believe the base of teachers care. Never met the principal, which is odd. I have met all the others for all of our kid's schools. Not much direct teacher engagement when our child is behind on work or has failing grades. A couple teachers reach out, but most don't. Perhaps a lazy work ethic.

As a former teacher, I will say that this school is a great place with leadership that is forward thinking and staff that actually love the kids. The academics are growing and they are committed to keeping up with the newest research on best practices.

My son is in 8th grade at North Oaks Middle School and we think it is a wonderful school! My oldest son also attended the school and had a great experience there, as well. The school offers a good selection of pre-AP and STEM courses and the fine arts education is among the best in the district. We also love that the student population is so culturally diverse. It's a beautiful thing to see young people being educated in an environment that is reflective of the diversity of our society.

Both of my daughters attend North Oaks and we LOVE this school. The teachers and administration are incredible! We love the different activities that our children can be involved in including band, theater and STEM classes.

My son has been attending NOMS . This is his second year and he loves it!! Teachers are great always willing to help the students whom may be struggling with assignments . KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK NORTH OAKS MIDDLE SCHOOL!!!
