While Chapin High School was built for the military community, it is run by EPISD and has a large percentage of non military students. While our children did well, the overall academic programs were below standard and we had to advocate for their needs regularly.
- Website: http://chapin.episd.org/welcome/index
- What did you like? They have a great JROTC program.
- What did you dislike? The teachers expections for their students are very low due to the fact that many of the students do not speak english nor do they continue on to college. We found that we had to advocate for our kids to get the support they need for them to get into the colleges of their choice.
