LOVE LOVE LOVE SLCSE! Our 2 girls go there and love math and love science. They love how passionate the teachers are! Everyone knows everyone's name. Much hands on learning and lots of field trips. They utilize the community (Univ of U science labs, etc) for real life learning applications. It is a small school with limited sports, but makes up for it in so many other ways!

My child went from hating school to loving school once she started attending SLCSE. In her prior schools she always had teachers saying that she had a bad attitude and didn't want to participate. She has since done a complete 180 and now participates and the teachers love her. I credit the awesome teachers who make her feel valued.

It is a smaller school, but the teachers know the students and want to accommodate those needs. they also have a very hands on style, not a lot of textbook learning. we have a lot of great teachers and work until the last day of school on research projects. there isn't as much segregation, most of our tables have multiple grades and ethnicity, we segregate based on interest, not race.

I LOVE SLCSE! My child is in love with the school and the principal is amazing! My child tells me how much she loves her school and all of her teachers! Thank you so much SLCSE for being the best school out there!

SLCSE is an AMAZING school with AMAZING teachers and staff. This is a small charter school where each student gets one on one attention! Every teacher knows every student by name and most teachers even know what each students grades are. Every teacher is willing to help any student who needs it. The teachers teach to each student not just for the tests. SLCSE is a hands on school, where kids go out of the school to apply what they have learned in the classroom. I have two students who attend SLCSE and each learns very differently. The teachers have accomadated both of their learning styles and they both have thrived here.

SLCSE IS A GREAT JR HIGH AN HIGH SCHOOL. LOW STUDENT TO TEACHER RATIO AN THE TEACHERS AN STAFF REAL SEEM TO CARE ABOUT YOUR CHILDREN AN THEIR EDUCATION.
