We had to pull our child from Boyce Elementary because the teacher was unkind and he became afraid of her. She made no effort to understand how our child learned and what he was capable of and the remedial level classes she mistakingly placed him in resulted in his being even more unchallenged. It took a long time to undo what she did.

Our experience has been that the teacher preferred her students to not have their own personalities or differences. Children were not encouraged to be themselves. Being different was a problem to her, she let us know On the first day of class. There was an ongoing problem with bullying and I do give credit to the school for some effort to curb it.

Time taken to remedy situations are spent in meetings with leadership that seem well rehearsed on the part of partied like the psychologist and the teachers and dont help the child who needs the help the most. An otherwise simple situation gets blown up into something that it is not and wastes resources that need to be used on students that are truly in need.

I would suggest that parents find an other school to send their children to. Please, research online and ask other parents about their experiences at Boyce Elementary to get the real story. We regret putting our trust into Boyce Elementary with our young children, it took quite a long time undo what had been done.

This school is amazing! The atmosphere, students, and faculty are exceptional! Boyce is a beautiful area in Clarke County, an ideal place for any child to learn and grow!

Boyce Elementary School has a program called Cardinal Choices, which reminds students and staff to make good decisions every day. This program focuses on good manners in their daily life, treating others with respect and kindness and looking out for the welfare of each other. Cardinal Choices is a simple program yet the rewards are huge. We are so glad our family is a Boyce Elementary family!

Boyce is the BEST place to work because the staff is friendly and caring. I hve worked at Boyce for 9 years and have loved every minute of it! The staff is truly here to work and support each other and the students.
