I feel lucky to send my student here. It is not every family that has the opportunity to transform their kids from mono lingual to dual lingual through the power of public education alone. A wonderful program.

Reading 20 minutes or more per day is the only homework required. This allows time for extra curricular activities.

My student has now had 6 homeroom teachers, and all have left us feeling lucky to be at Madison. A really skillful, kind, thoughtful crew of teachers.

I cant paint all teacher with one brush my daughters 1st grade math teacher was hurtful to all her student while her reading teachers was wonderful my child holds her in high regard till this day her teachers this year are also hard working reasonable

I dont think the staff is responsible for what the children do, that being said I hear a lot of bullying and judgmental stories coming home

Over all slightly under average school expectations, the best part of the school over all would be teachers who put extra effort to help children individualy in school work social growth and and scholars are what holds this school in place, they seem to have good resources and extreme safety precautions that are all good one bad this is my child comes home sick frequently due to their sick days policy kidsa are not allowed to take sick days they are forced to brings all their germs and sickness to share with the class to an average person with a basic understanding of how her and viruses work this defies common sense... that being said the staff is over all friendly and they do offer a well rounded curriculum, thesis Spanish bilingual program is great.

Terrible. They locked my child away all day and she was told everyday by teachers and students how dumb she was. This school and its teachers need to be eliminated

This school is a dual language school meaning that all of the kids are bilingual and biliterate when they graduate. This is modeled after similar programs in Seattle and implemented by 50% of the kids being native Spanish speakers and 50% being native English speakers. I think the language barrier negatively affects their state test scores, but I don't care about that as I see that my child is getting a great education. I have been very happy with my child's experience here. All of the staff has been very caring and dedicated. This school was the right choice for my family.

Awesome school with extremely dedicated teachers willing to help your child in any way possible. My child blossomed in second grade with many thanks to Mrs. Clayberg. The dual language program is on the cutting edge of learning. We love Madison!!!

madison isnt a very good school. they treat the parents like strangers and they dont realy watch the children to well, last yr they sent out a flyer that stated we could change schools if we wanted due to the low scores of the tests. most of the staff doesnt care about being there for the kids they only care for the paycheck. it saddens me to say but in the past 5 yrs only 12 students that went to madison graduated high school. they have a big bully problem that they just ignore. the principle of madison should give up her chair so some one who deserves to be there can be. i refuse to have my children back at madison ever again. when they started their new school after madison they were so far behind they almost had to repeat the 3 rd grade. prays the lord for summer school. the only thing madison has going for them is their reading programs. even the pto doesnt know what their doing half the time.

I did not like this school at all. They treated my child like dirt.She was in a special ed group and they didnt want to challenege her academicaly at all. they said she was comfertable at a 2nd grade level when she was in 5th grade! The staff at madison is mean and the priceple coaxs the children into admitting they did something wrong when they didnt just so she doesnt have to investigate.My child went to madison for 1 year and I had to get an in district waver to mover her because i couldnt handle the school anymore. Even then the principle bad mouthed me to other schools.Academicaly madison is way behind where they should be and all they do is have the children memerize the wasl tests. Our children need to taught not brain washed.
