Only not enough because I like to work with my kids more than the average parent on their education.

I went to Minter Creek in its first years, the love and care they have for the community and students has not changed. The teachers and staff are supportive to all, always smiling, and are willing to go above and beyond what their job entitles!

My children come with a background, teachers here have been supportive to their needs, have gone above and beyond to help the them reach their own goals, and had worked closely with me to support them at home!

MY biggest complaint is the amount of days the teachers miss each year. It seems each year they miss more and more days which effects the children in a very negative way.
My other complaint is the Principle has taken most all of the recess equipment away, so the children are so bored. They need more managed play for each class, and more so for the older kids.

My daughter has gone to minter creek since she was in Kindergarten she is now in the second grade. In my option the school has got worse they got rid of the best teacher that they ever had. This principal does not listen to the parents I went in there this year and ask to have my daughter moved out of the teacher she is in and the principal told me no that he would not he said that this teacher is the best teacher for her. Parents have no say with this principal and if you are a single mom forget about dealing with this principal he only wants to deal with men. Certatin teachers and the principal are uncaring they loose kids that right in front of there face. All this principal cares about is him self.

They do have a new principal this year and things seem to be improving. He seems to care a lot and is doing his best. The teachers so far have been great. The only complaint I have is the mixing of age groups during recess. It seems to me that the kindergarteners shouldn't be out at recess with the fifth graders because things do get rough sometimes.

As a parent my biggest complaint is the recess is not well supervised. Budget cuts are really felt with in the classes. Teachers care. Principal does not respond to problem in what I feel is a timely manner.

My oldest child attended Minter a few years ago and they did a wonderful job preparing him for middle school. The teachers are wonderful and educated, I just wish there were more opportunities for parent involvement now that my youngest is attending. That being said, I can really find no other faults with Minter Creek Elementary.
