From our time volunteering at this school we have personally seen the support given to students with a broad variety of learning challenges.

Like most schools there is still bullying taking place but when seen by staff or reported by students it is dealt with quickly.

We have had our daughter in a school that so overloads kids with homework that they have no time for family after school and we have had her in a school that gave no homework. WF West manages to stick a balance between the two

Our daughter is in her second year at this school. With just a couple exceptions we have really liked her teachers. The exceptions are more a disagreement on teaching style than lack of skill or effectiveness on the teachers part.

We have spent hours at this school and are thrilled with the behavior we have seen from the student body.

At our daughters last school, even though we had put in hours volunteering to support music and theater programs, the principle didn't have a clue who we were and I never saw him attend a play or band concert. The same can't be said of the leadership of WF West. The leadership of the school knows us by name, and this is a school more than twice as large. There is always great support for the arts programs, not just for sports.

When we first moved back to Washington we based our home purchase in part on your rating of the schools. Unfortunately it caused a wasted year for our daughter at a school we would not have put her in but for your rating. We have seen moved her to WF West and are thrilled with their staff, programs, and facilities. They start working with their students as Freshman to ensure they have the classes they need on their transcripts to meet their future career requirements. This isn't a once a year program, but a weekly activity and they stay with the same staff guide through all four years. We drive our daughter 10 miles each way daily so she can attend this school and it's worth every mile.
