The school has been great so far, and my child was quickly able to learn a lot of academic things which we couldnt teach them at home. Highly recommend because of the diversity of students as well. Teachers are also very caring as well.

My son had been at this school for two years now. He is in special education. The teachers, staff, and administration at this school are outstanding. We have had nothing but positive experiences and support. The only reason I marked it down for safety is because the design of the school building was not made for the dangers of an active shooter. It was built in the 1960s and they didn't think about that then! The great news is there are plans to re-build the school! I am sure this will address this problem.

From the front office staff to the teachers, to the Principal, This school has been a treasure in the way the love the students and care for each individual students whether they have learning challenges or academically gifted, have support from home or not. Quality of education has been good and our neighborhood kids have gone on to graduate from college and have successful careers. My kids have gone there and then to Forest view with a much higher rating and I have personally seen great teachers and staff at bothel and even more positive experiences with the front desk and administration at Oak Heights.

I have 2 kids going to this school ever since they were in K and they enjoyed their teachers and staff very much. Almost all of the teachers know their names and siblings. I have a 1st grader and she enjoyed her teacher (Mrs. K) very much that she never wanted to miss one day of school. This give me hopes for the future :)

My son has been going here for last 2 years and teachers have been amazing. With COVID and remote learning, I was fortunate to observe it first hand when my son would be doing his class sitting next to me. Teacher was so respectful to the students even those who were distracted looking at the screen all day. They would organize some warm up and moving around activities to engage the kids and get them back on track. Teachers were also considerate about individual growth, for example there were 1:1 with students periodically and then social groups amongst the kids during online sessions. During the pandemic, material pickups etc were organized very efficiently. Teacher communication was also great, i was very happy with the amount of information shared about the class and how my son was doing at school. I whole heartedly recommend it.

Wonderful. I have been an oak heights parent for 6 years now and I think the teachers are loving and effective as educators. The principal is wonderful too, as are the staff.

This school may not look like much from the outside but on the inside it's outstanding! The teachers and staff are so warm and nurturing. The pta always has fun events planned and the school community is great!!

While the buildings are quite old, the staff is amazing. Great at communicating with parents and keeping us involved in our children's education. They also have more extracurricular activities for the students than any other elementary school my kids have experienced thus far. This is a school that other schools should strive to resemble. We love Oak Heights!

After bad experiences with other schools in the area, I am happy to have found a school that my son and I love. Every person at Oak Heights helped make the transition to a new school go smoothly for my son and it's nice to have staff that actually care about the students, and whether they are truly learning.

We have had really good experiences with our children's teachers in the first 4 years of their attendance at Oak Heights. Many of the teachers have dedicated their careers to this community! All the families we have encountered are involved and caring. We feel this is a strong neighborhood school.

Our daughter attended first through 6th grade. Very active PTA, Principal is great! Wonderful music program and a nice safe environment. Buildings are a little old and need some upgrades but overall we were extremely happy with the teachers.
