Spouses of Yuma Area Kickball Association (SYAKA) 1

I cannot say enough about this amazing organization. I was not into joining at all, but I decided to step out of my comfort zone this season & try something new. I went from being miserable in town with few friends, to building wonderful relationships with fellow spouses, I stayed fit, had fun & was able to work on many volunteer opportunities in the local community. One of SYAKAs main pillars is community. We work on fostering positive relationships in the local community through volunteer efforts & food & clothing drives etc. Each squadron/unit on base has their own spouse team & if your spouse's unit doesn't have a team, you can contact the league & they will have you join one of the 7 existing teams. This organization is such a positive & rewarding experience. I highly recommend it to everyone even if they're unsure. You won't regret becoming involved & you will quickly get hooked on kickball!
