Great Falls Park 1

Great Falls is a beautiful area to go and adventure. With amazing rock formations, the potomac river, hiking trails, kayaking - theres something for everyone here. It's a bit of a trek to get into the area, parking is generally a bit difficult on busy days or federal holidays - so try to get there early. It's recommended to bring lots of water, bug spray, and snacks. Have an eye on children in the water without supervision, as always there are some dangers with flowing water, as well as sharp rocks. Bring a camera, too. As there is often wildlife, bugs, and beautiful scenery you will want to capture.
